Welcome to our wedding web site. Here you can learn more about our wedding, get directions, maps, learn how to make medieval attire, learn what feast gear is, and much more. We are requesting two things of our guests... 1) Please join us in medieval attire. 2) Please bring basic feast gear with you to help us keep the atmosphere of the feast alive. Keep checking back, this site will be updated with new information monthy until the wedding. NOTE: We will understand if an invited guest does not feel comfortable "dressing up." Please keep in mind that the medieval attire is a request not a requirement, we want all of you to come and be a part of this special day and that is the most important thing to us. That said, dressing for the occasion will be a lot of fun, we promise! Also please note that if there are any special accommodations addressing food allergies, feast gear for out of towners, or other needs be sure to mention this in your online RSVP so we may do our best to accommodate you. Although I can not guarantee the ability to please everyone, if a need is presented, we will do our best to meet it.
About Us
For those of you that are not aware of our story... We met in 1998 through some friends when Jenna first got into college at Eastern Washington University. It wasn't until 2002 that we got together however and began dating. It was months spent at the park, roses, cloud watching, movies, and dinners. One of our common hobbies is the SCA ( www.sca.org), the Society for Creative Anachronism, a medival recreation group. This is one of the reasons we have decided to have a wedding with a medival feel to it.
The SCA Justin has been involved in the SCA off and on since he was a kid. Jenna however, didn't get introduced to it until 2001 and became more acitve in 2002. Our interests include archery, drumming, dancing, middle eastern cultures, cooking, and sewing. The picture to the right is us at the archery range at an event. In case you are wondering about what kind of garb we are wearing, we both have middle eastern personas.
Our Everyday Lives
Justin is in the process of getting his degree in Computer Networking. Jenna has got 1 quarter left to finish her Master's in Drug and Alcohol Counseling. We are both working, Justin at West Coast Hospitality (Red Lion) and Jenna at New Horizons Counseling Center. We both like to spend time together watching movies, taking walks in the park, cooking dinner together, spending time with our furry little one (left), and gaming with our friends.
